Welcome to the website of the Department of Experimental Medicine

The Department of Experimental Medicine was founded in July 2010 following the reorganization of the Departments of Sapienza, and includes part of the staff belonging to the old Department of "Experimental Medicine and Pathology" and the staff of the former Department of "Medical Physiopathology". Currently the Department brings together 70 professors from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (17 PO, 23 PA and 30 Researchers), divided into the two sections of General Pathology and Clinical Pathology and of Medical Physiopathology, Food Science and Endocrinology, with the aim of promoting translational and multidisciplinary research activities.
